Our Identity

Who We Are

Vizag Christian Assembly (VCA) is a thriving, Spirit-filled church located in the heart of Visakhapatnam — the city of destiny. We are a local community of the global Church of Jesus our Lord.

Our congregation is a diverse family of believers from all walks of life, united by our faith in Jesus Christ. We are committed to creating an environment where people can encounter God, grow in their faith, and discover their God-given purpose.

We meet every Sunday at the Main Bethany School Hall, Waltair Main Road, Visakhapatnam. All are welcome — come as you are!

Our Doctrine

What We Believe

These core beliefs form the foundation of everything we do at Vizag Christian Assembly.

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme source of all truth for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

The Godhead

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and co-existent.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, and in His atoning death through His shed blood.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who dwells within every believer, empowering them to live a godly life and witness.

Salvation

We believe salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ — by grace alone, through faith alone.

Water Baptism

We believe water baptism is an outward sign of the inward work of grace and the identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

The Lord's Supper

We believe in the Lord's Supper as a commemoration of His suffering and death and a proclamation of His return.

The Church

We believe in the universal Church — the Body of Christ — of which He is the Head, composed of all true believers.

The Second Coming

We believe in the personal, imminent return of Jesus Christ to rapture His Church, followed by His visible return to establish His millennial kingdom.

Eternal Judgment

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting life, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting punishment.

Our Journey

The VCA Story

A journey of faith, growth, and God's faithfulness in the city of Visakhapatnam.

The Beginning

A small group of faithful believers gathered with a vision to establish a Christ-centred church in Visakhapatnam. With prayer and faith, Vizag Christian Assembly was born.

1980
1995

Growing Congregation

God blessed VCA with growth as more families and individuals found their spiritual home here. New ministries were birthed to serve every age group.

Community Impact

VCA began extending its reach through outreach programs, community service, and evangelism — fulfilling the Great Commission in the city and beyond.

Today, VCA is a vibrant, thriving church with hundreds of members, multiple active ministries, and a passionate commitment to glorifying Christ through Worship, Word, Works, and Witness.

Our Vision

Vizag Christian Assembly is committed to the obedience of our Lord's Great Commission. We envision being a growing, leading, and exemplary church in Vizag — a lighthouse of God's glory in the city of destiny.
